Trying to Blog

It's a Monday morning here in Burquitlam and I have the morning off because I have traded my shift for an evening shift. Why? I don't like working nights but today is a day that I will be spending the morning/afternoon with the fam fam. For those of you don't know me very well or not at all, I rarely get to see my parents so seeing them is almost like a special occasion. We aren't doing much, rather we're going to be going to clinics to get check-ups lol....but I suppose that's spending time with each other as well.

What has been new?

Well I have been illustrating and doing some small design projects here and there. I am constantly trying to add stuff to my website and also I am trying very very very hard to blog. I used to have another blog (with a total of 3 blog posts) but something demented happened and the server decided to be infected with a virus and crash on me. If any of you viewed my other blog, please do NOT go there... I can't even seem to shut it down properly.

So yes, I have been trying to blog but every time I come home from work I am so uber exhausted I just feel like not doing anything that requires the least amount of thinking. Fridays and Saturdays are mostly spent trying to do stuff that I can't do much on weekdays (aka go out and see some friends) and Sundays are the days I try to just relax and recoup for another 5 straight days of work shifts.

Something to look forward to though is APRIL 2011!!!!

It's February right now and I am so so excited and nervous at the same time. I'll be going to BCIT in 2 months time and I have been mentally preparing myself since I graduated from UBC back in May 2010. After going back and forth many school programs and jumping back and forth from program option to program option I finally decided to choose BCIT. Tuition seemed a bit more fair than some private institutions and the trek to the Burnaby campus won't be tough since I have settled into my parents place here in a little area called "Burquitlam" (borderline Burnaby and Coquitlam)

I am super stoked to be starting my program soon but I am NOT at all excited about not having a job and being broke. lol... I have to be really strict with myself for a good year while I do the program which means that I will be MIA for all the fun events :(

Friends are already planning all these amazinnngggggg plans for the summer (all of which I am so down to attend) but I will really have to wait on what my schedule is to see if I can attend any of these playtime extravaganza. - le sigh.
